Thanks so much for your support on the launch of the Hellina: Scythe Kickstarter — we really appreciate it! Stretch goals are posted and we just reached the first goal. Here’s a little taste of the results of that goal, and there’s more where that came from!

Hell won the eternal struggle long ago, and has been secretly ruling humanity ever since. With Hellina as their ultra-powerful enforcer, it seems nothing can change that. But even greater plans for final domination are made, and as the forces of Heaven catch wind, they have no choice but to make a valiant effort to turn the tide. All the holy warriors, the angelic forces, have been snuffed out or defeated. The burden falls to Yael, an angelic warrior who has seen the horrors of war for hundreds of years. Not hung up by concepts like right and wrong, she has to earn victory, for the greater good, by any means. So she sets about gathering the worst together for the best of reasons. Those that are unforgiving, unredeemed, unapologetic, and undefeated. They are the UNHOLY. This all-new series is brought to life by Christian Zanier and Raulo Caceres with loads of killer guest artists if we hit the stretch goals! All issues are, at a minimum, 32 page comics in full- color. UNHOLY is intended for Mature Readers over the age of 18, with blazing bad-girl art, nudity, brutal violence, language, adult situations, and the most killing for the glory of Heaven since the Crusades!

We’re headed into the final stretch on the Belladonna kickstarter, and I thought you might like to take a closer look at the work of the rising star artist, Nahuel Lopez:
Ok, you guys have just passed the level 6 stretch, meaning we’ve got 4 issues @ 48 pages each funded. Mike thanks you from the untamed wilderness of his research adventure (if you see him, give that guy a phone with google maps on it, or something), Nahuel thanks you from Argentina (and we’ll talk more about the phenomenally talented Mr. Lopez in this space very soon), and I thank you from my remote location in the U.S. heartland, where we had some unbelievably nice weather today.
If you haven’t taken a look at the Belladonna Kickstarter yet, I’d encourage you to do so when you have a chance, as it’s been our fastest-paced Boundless kickstarter campaign to date.
All right… I want to do another art/info update well before we hit the holiday weekend, but I gotta go make some comics now. Catch up with you again tomorrow, likely. In the meantime, it looks like Belladonna has hit the tavern for a little celebration.
We’ve just passed the $19,000 stretch goal which means that Belladonna is funded to four issues, and EVERY backer will be receiving digital editions of all four of those issues.
Thanks again for your help in launching this series. Belladonna has quickly become one of the cornerstones of the Boundless line, thanks to you, and the best is yet to come from the Beautiful Berzerker.
