To celebrate the 20th anniversary year of LADY DEATH comics, Boundless Comics will be publishing a special Free Comic Book Day edition called “LADY DEATH: THE BEGINNING!” Throughout the years, the ivory heroine has traveled down many different roads, but she has always remained a mysterious and powerful goddess. Now, new readers can step into her story seamlessly with this 40-page introductory issue! Collecting the first two chapters of current ongoing series, THE BEGINNING contains the content of both Lady Death Premiere and Lady Death #0. These seminal stories introduced two new crucial characters to the LADY DEATH mythos: the despotic villainess Death Queen and Lady Death’s amnesiac alter-ego, Illadra! The issue is written by original creator Brian Pulido and Mike Wolfer (War Goddess, Stitched), with interiors by Marcelo Mueller and a gorgeous new cover by Jason Eden!
